People could apply for the Sub Inspector positions from January 7th to 31st. The exam will be soon. Candidates need their admit card to take the exam.

UP Police SI (Sub-Inspector) Selection Process
The first test is a written exam that checks how much the candidates know about different subjects. You have to pass this exam with a good score to move on to the next part of the selection process.
If you pass the test, you’ll need to show us your real documents, like your school certificates, ID, proof of where you live, and anything else we asked for in the announcement.
After passing the written exam, candidates will need to take a physical exam. This test checks if they meet the height, chest (for men), and weight requirements set by the UPPRPB.
People applying for jobs like Clerk (ASI) might need to take a typing or stenography test to see if they’re good at those skills.

UP Police SI Exam Scheme and Paper Pattern
- The exam consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- The duration of the Online Exam is 2.5 hours.
- The UP SI Online Exam will be worth a total of 400 marks.
- Candidates will receive 2 marks for each correct answer.
- There is no deduction for wrong answers.
- The test will be available in Hindi and English, except for the General Hindi section.
