UGC NET-2024 Eligibility Details
Candidates planning to apply for UGC NET June 2024 must meet specific eligibility criteria to ensure their application is valid. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates for the general category must have received at least a 55% on their Master’s degree or an equivalent exam from colleges or universities that have been approved by the UGC in disciplines such as social science, computer science, applications, electronic science, humanities, etc. The necessary percentage is 50% for candidates who fall within the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, ST, PwD, or third gender categories.
