SSC CGL: Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be Indian citizens.
Educational Qualifications
The SSC offers a range of government jobs to various offices, branches, and departments. The following post-wise educational requirements have been made public by the commission:
- Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: A recognized university bachelor’s degree in any field or area, as well as a master’s degree in business studies and a CA, CS, MBA, or cost and management accountant certification, are required of candidates.
- For Junior Statistical Officer, candidates must either have a minimum of 60% in mathematics from their class 12 education or a bachelor’s degree in any related field from an accredited university.
- For Statistical Investigator Grade II, applicants must have graduated with a degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as an elective or required course from any accredited university.
- For Research Assistants in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC): Applicants must have completed economics, statistics, or mathematics as required or elective courses at any accredited university in order to be eligible.
- For Remaining Posts: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognised university or institute.
Age Limit

Registration Fee Details
The examination costs ₹100/- for candidates. Applications without payment of the examination fee will not be accepted. The application fee is waived for female candidates and candidates who identify as SC, ST, PH, or ex-servicemen.
