The Assam State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) is looking to hire 5,000 people for Class IV jobs in different government departments. They announced this on October 27, 2023, and people could start applying on November 10, 2023. The last day to apply was December 29, 2023.
The commission has told us when the Grade 4 exam will be. It will happen on October 20 and 27, 2024. You’ll get your admit card for the exam at least a week before those dates.

Selection Procedure
To start, everyone takes a written test with multiple-choice questions. This test checks if you know the basics of the job and if you’re a good fit.
People who pass the written test will be invited to an interview. During the interview, we’ll check if they have a good personality, can communicate well, and if they’re a good fit for a government job.
After the interview, people who did well will need to prove that their papers are real. They’ll have to show things like their school certificates and ID cards.
Grade 4 Examination Pattern
- The examination is conducted offline.
- Answers will be marked on an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet.
- Each question carries one mark.
- For every incorrect answer, 0.5 marks are deducted.
- The exam is available in multiple languages: Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/ English.
