Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
For AME Post: Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for the AME post:
- a Mining Engineering degree from an accredited university established under Indian law.
- Parts A and B of the Institutions of Engineers’ AMIE (Mining Engineering).
- The Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, located in Dhanbad, offers a diploma in mining engineering.
For Geologist Post: Candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in Geology or Applied Geology from a recognised university established by Law in India. They should also hold an equivalent qualification declared by the government, or a Diploma in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad.
