RBI Group B Officers – Eligibility Requirements & Conditions
Educational Qualification
Applicants for these roles must be graduates of an accredited university or have earned their Bachelor’s degree. At the time of application registration, candidates are required to upload their academic credentials.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2024)
The candidates’ age should be limited to no more than 21 years old and no older than 30 years old. The following will be the age relaxation:
- For OBC category candidates: 03 year
- For SC/ST category candidates: 05 years

Reserve Bank of India Group B Officers – Selection Procedure
The following phases will be used to determine which officers will represent Group B:
- Prelims Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview
While the main exam is an objective, descriptive test, the preliminary exam is qualifying in nature. Subject knowledge and aptitudes are tested in the preliminary round, and each post-specific Mains exam will follow. Candidates who make the short list and receive higher scores in the preliminary and main exams will be invited to the interview phase of the selection process. A number of banks around the country will appoint individuals as officers based on their cumulative scores across all phases.
