PGCIL Engineer Trainee – Eligibility Requirements & Conditions
Educational Qualifications
For Engineer Trainee (Electrical): Candidates should possess a degree in B.E., B.Tech. and B.Sc (Engineering) with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised university or institute. Additionally, they should have a degree in any discipline i.e. Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power System Engineer/ Power Engineering (Electrical).
For Engineer Trainee (Electronics): Candidates should have a degree with at least 60% marks in their respective degree, i.e. B.E., B.Tech. and B.Sc (Engineering) from a recognised institute. Along with this, they should have a degree in any discipline of Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics and Electrical Communication and Telecommunication Engineering.
For Engineer Trainee (Civil): Candidates must have passed B.E., B.Tech. and B.Sc (Engineering) with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised university or institute. Also, candidates should have a Civil Engineering Degree in any discipline.
For Engineer Trainee (Computer Science): Candidates should possess a degree in B.E., B.Tech. and B.Sc (Engineering) from a recognised institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate and have a degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering and Information Technology (IT).
Age Limit
As of December 31, 2023, candidates cannot be older than 28. The following are the categories where the upper age limit has been loosened:

Application Fee Structure
