Educational Qualification
- TGT (Arts): A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Shastra (Sanskrit) degree, or a 50% cumulative graduation in Arts or Commerce from an accredited university, is required of candidates. An NCTE-recognized institution may need a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program, or a four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. program with a minimum of 50% overall marks.
- TGT (Science-PCM & CBZ): A bachelor’s degree in education (B. Ed.) or a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program from an NCTE-approved institution is required, as is a graduation in science, technology, or engineering with a minimum of 50% overall from a recognized university. An NCTE-recognized university may also accept a four-year integrated B. Sc. B.Ed. program with a cumulative 50%.
- Hindi Teacher: graduation from an accredited university with one of the following training certificates plus at least 50% of the total marks in Hindi earned in elective, optional, pass, or honors subjects:
- Hindi From Kendriya Hindi Sansthan in Agra, Shikshan Parangat
- The NCTE-recommended B.H.Ed. course from a recognized university or institution
- B.Ed in Hindi from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras
- Sanskrit Teacher: Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) and Sanskrit as one of the electives, optional, honors, or pass subjects from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are necessary for graduation from a recognized university or institution.
- Physical Education Teacher: 12th or its equivalent examination and a C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., or M.P. Ed from a recognized board or university are needed.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 38 on January 1, 2024. Candidates who fall under one of the reserved categories may be able to request an upper age relaxation in accordance with state government regulations.
