Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The required educational qualifications vary based on the post for which the candidate is applying. Below are the qualifications for some of the major positions:
- Junior Engineering Assistant Grade II (Production): B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related fields.
- Junior Engineering Assistant Grade II (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Junior Engineering Assistant Grade II (Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related fields.
- Junior Engineering Assistant Grade II (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical or related disciplines.
- Store Assistant: A full-time graduate in Science, Commerce, or Arts.
- Loco Attendant: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a specific vision requirement (6/6 vision).
- Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing.
- Pharmacist: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
Age Limit
- The age limit for all posts is between 18 and 30 years as of September 30, 2024.
- Age relaxations are applicable as per government rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and additional relaxations for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and candidates from Jammu & Kashmir.

NFL Non-Executive Posts Selection Process
The exam will be offline and will be based on OMR sheets. You will have to answer questions about your subject area and general knowledge. There will be 150 questions: 100 about your subject and 50 about English, reasoning, math, and general knowledge.
You must score at least 50% to be on the merit list. NFL may also test your skills for some jobs, but this test will not affect your score.
