Within the Meghalaya Police Department, a total of 2968 positions, including those of Sub Inspector, Constable, Fireman, and Driver, among others, will be filled.
It is significant to remember that the original deadline for completing and submitting the application was April 01–30, 2024. However, in response to an official notice dated April 1, 2024, the registration deadline has been rescheduled. The online registration process will now begin on April 8 and end on May 31, 2024.

Meghalaya Police Eligibility Criteria and Vacancy Details
Age Limit (as of 01 January 2024)
- For UB SI (Male & Female) – The age of the candidates must be between 21 to 27 years.
- For All Other Posts – Applicant’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 21 years.
- Age Relaxation – The upper-age limit relaxation applies to ST/ OST/ SC categories.

Physical Requirements
In the Meghalaya Police Recruitment, weight and chest measurements are not required for any posts. Only height measurement will be used in the selection process, and the following criteria will apply to various categories:
