Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Senior Social Welfare Inspector, Social Welfare Inspector, and Wardens: Applicants are required to hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. In addition to the degree, they must have the Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology (MS-CIT) or an equivalent computer proficiency certification.
- Stenographer (Higher and Lower Grades): Candidates must have completed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination. They should also have shorthand typing skills, with a speed of 120 or 100 words per minute in English or Marathi. Furthermore, for typing, they need to demonstrate a speed of 40 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Marathi.

Social Welfare Inspector & other’s Selection Process
The process to choose candidates includes two steps: a computer-based test and checking their documents. The test will have questions about Marathi, English, general knowledge, and thinking skills. It will have 100 questions and be worth 200 points. Candidates need to score at least 45% to move forward. Those who do well in the test will have their documents checked to make sure they are qualified. The final decision will be based on how well candidates do in the test and how their documents are checked.
