KARTET 2024 Notification Released, Check Apply Online Link Qualifications Required, Fee Details and Application Form Last Date: An official notification regarding the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) 2024 has been released by the state’s school education department. The department’s goal is to appoint qualified and experienced applicants to fill Karnataka’s teaching positions.
The online application window was open from April 15, 2024, to May 15, 2024. Within this time limit, candidates must complete the KARTET Registration forms. A registration fee must be paid by candidates in order for their applications to be successfully submitted. Candidates who wish to work as elementary and upper primary school teachers must take the KARTET exam.

Educational Qualifications
- For Classes 1 to 5: Candidates must have completed and passed the PUC Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% of the possible points, or they must have appeared in the last year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) program or the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (under whatever name). Applicants must be in their last year of a two-year special education diploma program and have earned at least 50% of their BA/B.Sc.
- For Classes 6 to 8: In addition to appearing in the final year of a 2-year diploma in elementary education (D.El.ED) or in the final year of a 4-year diploma in B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed with at least 50% marks, candidates must pass their graduation with at least 50% from an accredited university or institute.
Age Limit
To apply for the KARTET exam, candidates must be at least 18 years old and older than 40. The age relaxation will adhere to the regulations, and candidates must fall within this age range.

Application Fee Details
The registration fee for each category has been made public by the department. The registration fee for candidates must be paid in accordance with their categories. It will be distinct for both Paper I and Paper II. The registration fee broken down by category is shown in the following table:

Note: There is no registration fee for candidates who are differently abled or physically disabled. You have the option to pay the fee online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking, etc.
