Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Jharkhand TET 2024, you must meet certain requirements. These rules make sure only qualified people can take the test. Here are the things you need to qualify:
Primary Level (Class I to V):
- You must be at least 18 years old to apply. There’s no oldest age to apply.
- You need to have finished high school with good marks (50% or more). You also need to be studying or have finished a 2-year course to teach younger kids (D.El.Ed) or a 4-year course to teach younger kids (B.El.Ed).
- If you have a Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year course to teach younger kids (D.El.Ed), you can also apply.
Upper Primary Level (Class VI to VIII):
- You must be at least 21 years old to apply. There’s no oldest age to apply.
- You need to have a Bachelor’s degree. You should also be studying or have finished a 2-year course to teach younger kids (D.El.Ed) or a 1-year course to teach older kids (B.Ed).
- If you finished high school with good marks (50% or more) and have a 4-year teaching degree (B.El.Ed), you can also apply.
Application Fee Details
The application fee for Jharkhand TET 2024 varies based on the category of the candidates. The details are as follows:
- If you are from a normal family (General), a lower-class family (Backward Class), or a poor family (Economically Weaker Section), you will pay ₹1300 for single paper or ₹1500 for both papers.
- If you come from a Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or have a disability (PWD), you will pay ₹700 for single paper or ₹800 for both papers.
You must pay the money in the way told in the official notice. This could be online or by going to a place.
