The Indian Army is starting a new training program for engineering graduates. It’s called the 141st Technical Graduate Course (TGC-141) and it will start in July 2025 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun. This program is for unmarried men who have completed their engineering studies. If they finish the program successfully, they can become permanent officers in the Indian Army.
The application period for joining the Indian Army as a commissioned officer is open from September 18th to October 17th. ARMY Technical Graduate Course Educational Qualifications
To apply, you need to have an engineering degree or be about to finish one. If you’re still in your final year of engineering, you’ll need to prove that you passed your final exams and have your final grades by July 1, 2025. You also need to be able to show your official engineering degree certificate within 12 weeks of starting your training at IMA.
Age Limits
To join the TGC-141 course, you must be:
- At least 20 years old but not older than 27 years old on July 1, 2025.
- Born between July 2, 1998, and July 1, 2005.

TGC 141 Selection Process
