Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates for an LLB degree (three years after graduation or five years after the 10+2) must have at least a 55% aggregate score.
- All candidates, including those who are LLM qualified or appearing, must have a CLAT PG 2024 score.
- Applicants must be qualified to register with the Bar Council of India or the State as advocates. They have to be alumni of an Indian college or university that has been approved by the Bar Council of India.
Age Limit
- As of January 1, 2025, candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 27 (born no earlier than January 2, 1998, and no later than January 1, 2004).

JAG-Entry Scheme – Selection Process
The following criteria will be used to select candidates: performance in each of the selection phases
Application Shortlisting: The Army’s Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defense will select a subset of applications. Email notifications regarding the selection center will be sent to candidates.
SSB Interview: At predetermined locations (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Jalandhar), shortlisted candidates will participate in the SSB interview process. There are two phases to the interview:
- Stage I: Screening Test
- Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Tests, and Interview
Medical Examination: Candidates who have been found medically fit and recommended by the SSB will receive joining letters.
