ICG Recruitment 2024, Coast Guard Navik GD and Yantrik Vacancy Notice Released,Check Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates, Selection Process and Application Dates Extended: Applying via the Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) for the 01/2025 batch, the Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defence) is seeking applications from suitably qualified male candidates for the positions of Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik. The period for applications is open from June 13, 2024, to July 3, 2024.

A total of 320 positions are up for grabs; 260 are designated for Naviks, while 60 are for Yantriks. Applications are being accepted for all of these roles. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Navik (General Duty): 12th grade diploma from an education board approved by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE), with math and physics as subjects.
  • Yantrik: 10th pass from COBSE recognized board and a diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Age Limit

  • Minimum 18 months, maximum 22 months. Applicants must have been born between March 1, 2003, and February 28, 2007 (inclusive).
  • Upper age relaxation: three years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates, and five years for SC/ST candidates.
