Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have graduated from an accredited school or institution. They must graduate from a university accredited by the Indian government with a B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.Tech, or equivalent in any discipline. Candidates may also apply for this exam if they have earned comparable training that is recognized by the Central Government.
Computer Literacy
For the Probationary Officer positions, computer system knowledge is a must, but it is also a requirement for the IBPS PO Prelims Exam, which will only be offered online.
Language Proficiency
It is preferable to be proficient both written and verbally in the state and UT languages. This is a language that candidates must speak, read, and write.

IBPS PO Fee Structure
The category-wise fee structure is as follows:
- For SC/ST Category Candidates: ₹175/- (Intimation Charges Only)
- For General and Other Category Candidates: ₹850/- (Application Fee + Intimation Charges)

The selection is based on multiple spells:
- Prelims Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview
The preliminary and main exams, which evaluate a candidate’s topic knowledge, mathematical prowess, and reasoning skills, will be administered online by the organization. A descriptive paper is the primary test for those who made it to the preliminary round.
