Gujarat HC Stenographer Vacancies – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Each position, such as English stenographer Grade-II (Class II) and English stenographer Grade III (Class III), has a different educational requirement. The following are the required educational backgrounds:

  • English Stenographer Grade II: Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. Candidates should also have speed accuracy in English Short Hand 120 w.p.m. and basic computer knowledge.
  • English Stenographer Grade III:  Candidates should possess a graduation degree with any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university or institute. They have basic computer knowledge with speed accuracy in English Short Hand 100 w.p.m.
  • Along with these qualifications, candidates must have a sufficient knowledge of English, Gujarati & Hindi languages.

Age Limit (as of 26 May 2024)

For English Stenographer Grade II

  • Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 40 years

For English Stenographer Grade III

  • Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
