The Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) is hiring 50 Management Trainees (MTs) for Banking Operations. You can apply online by October 7th, 2024. Selected candidates will get a monthly stipend of ₹65,000 during training. After completing the one-year training successfully, they will become Deputy Managers. Their starting salary will be between ₹48,480 and ₹85,920. They will also get allowances and other benefits as per bank rules.
Management Trainee Educational Qualifications
Candidates applying for the post of Management Trainee must have:
- Graduation with at least 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline.
- Post-graduation in Finance, International Business, Foreign Trade (MBA, PGDBA, PGDBM, MMS) or Chartered Accountancy (CA).
- Candidates awaiting their post-graduation or CA results, due by June 1, 2025, are also eligible to apply.
EXIM Bank MT Age Limit
As of August 1, 2024, candidates should be at least 21 years old and not older than 28. However, relaxation in the upper age limit is available for candidates from reserved categories.
EXIM Bank Registration Fee
The application fee is ₹600 for most candidates, but it’s only ₹100 for those from certain groups like SC/ST, PwBD, EWS, and women. This fee is not refundable and has to be paid online when you apply.

Management Trainee Selection Process
The two parts of the selection process for Management Trainees are a written test and a personal interview. The written test is worth 70% and checks the candidate’s professional knowledge. People who do well in the written test will be chosen for the interview, which is worth 30%. The final decision will be based on how well you do in both the written test and the interview.
