CTET Educational Qualifications
To apply for CTET, candidates must fulfil the following educational qualifications:
Primary Level (Classes 1-5): Teachers need to have finished high school with at least a 50% passing grade and have a 2-year diploma in teaching for young children.
Upper Primary Level (Classes 6-8): Teachers need to have a bachelor’s degree with at least a 50% passing grade and a teaching degree for older children
Age Limit
There is no age limit for applying to the CTET exam, but you must be at least 18 years old when you apply.
Central TET Registration Fee
The fee for the CTET exam depends on how many papers you take and if you belong to a special group. People who are not from a special group have to pay more than people who are.
