The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has officially announced the dates for the CPCB Exam 2025 (Advertisement No. 01/2025-Admin.(R)). The exams will take place on June 21st and 22nd, 2025, with three daily shifts: 9 AM-11 AM, 1 PM-3 PM, and 3 PM-5 PM. Scientist ‘B’
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical, AI, Computer Science, or IT Engineering/Technology; OR a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Microbiology.
- Preferred: Master’s in Engineering/Technology, or NET qualified/Ph.D.
Assistant Law Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with 5 years of experience in State Judicial Service, a State Legal Department, Central Government legal affairs, or as a practicing advocate.
Senior Technical Supervisor
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering with 3 years of experience in a related field.
Senior Scientific Assistant
- Master’s degree in Science with 2 years of experience in pollution control or a related field.
Technical Supervisor
- Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree and a typing speed of 35 WPM in English (10500 KDPH) or 30 WPM in Hindi (9000 KDPH).
Accounts Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with 3 years of experience in accounts, audit, or related work.
Junior Translator
- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level; OR Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level; OR a Master’s in any subject with either Hindi or English medium and the other language as a subject at the degree level.
Senior Draughtsman
- Degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience in a similar field.
Junior Technician
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of experience servicing lab machines.
Senior Laboratory Assistant
- 12th pass in Science with 3 years of relevant experience.
Upper Division Clerk (UDC)
- Graduation from a recognized university and a typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on a computer.
Data Entry Operator Grade-II
- 12th pass with a data entry speed of 8000 key depressions/hour.
Stenographer Grade-II
- 12th pass with a skill test demonstrating:
- Dictation: 80 WPM for 10 minutes.
- Transcription: 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi) on a computer.
Junior Laboratory Assistant
- 12th pass with Science.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- 12th pass with a typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi.
Field Attendant
- 10th pass.
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)
- 10th pass OR an ITI certificate in Electrical, Mechanic, or Plumber
