Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
You’ll need a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. If you have a postgraduate degree or diploma in Rural Development, you’ll get a boost of 15 additional marks in the merit list and written test. Remember to have all your original mark sheets and certificates from every semester/year by the application deadline, as no late qualifications or unverified documents will be accepted during the document verification round.
Age Limit
To be eligible for the Assistant Development Extension Officer (ADEO) position, candidates must be at least 20 years old as of January 1, 2025.
The standard maximum age for general candidates is 30 years. However, local residents of Chhattisgarh receive an extended upper age limit of 35 years. Furthermore, unemployed educated youth from Chhattisgarh can get an additional 5-year relaxation, raising their maximum age to 40 years.
