Qualified Ayurvedic, Homoeopathic, and Unani practitioners are invited to apply for 2619 contractual vacancies (initially for 11 months) in PHCs, APHCs, and CHCs throughout Bihar. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications and fall within the specified age limit to be eligible for the positions.
Educational Qualification
Ayurvedic Medical Officer: Requires a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from a recognized university, completion of a compulsory internship, and registration with the Bihar State Ayurvedic & Unani Medical Council.
Homoeopathic Medical Officer: Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) degree from a recognized university, have completed a mandatory internship, and be registered with the Bihar State Homoeopathic Medical Council.
Unani Medical Officer: Candidates need a Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) degree from a recognized university, must have completed a compulsory internship, and require registration with the Bihar State Ayurvedic & Unani Medical Council.
Age Limit
To be eligible, candidates must have reached a minimum age of 21 years by August 1, 2024. Age relaxations will be granted according to government regulations outlined in the official notification.
