Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Educational Qualifications
For Paper-1A (Classes I to V in Regular Schools)
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE regulations, 2002.
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Paper-1B (Classes I to V in Special Schools)
- a 2-year Special Education Diploma and at least 50% in Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
- The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) recognizes other qualifications that are comparable.
For Paper-2A (Classes VI to VIII in Regular Schools)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year integrated B.A./B.Sc. Ed.
- Post-graduation with a minimum of 55% marks and a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Age Limit
