This admission test was conducted in Computer-Based Mode at numerous test centres in multiple cities nationally. The AIIMS provides the BSc Nursing (Post-basic) programme with 30 seats available, whilst the BSc Nursing (Hons) Nursing degree has 571 seats available.
AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Entrance Test – Exam Overview
Every year, the organisation annually conducts the B.Sc Nursing Entrance Test, which varies for each course. This year, the organisation took the B.Sc Nursing (Honours) on 08 and 09 June 2024 and the B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) Entrance Test will be held on 06 July 2024 at various test cities. Paper I for B.Sc Nursing (Honours) Courses
This test includes four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. A total of 100 multiple-choice questions were asked in this test, which comprised 100 marks. The exam was conducted online with 120 minutes of duration to complete the test. Each correct answer carried 01 mark, and a 1/3rd mark was deducted for each incorrect answer.
Paper II for B.Sc Nursing (Paramedical) Courses
This test involves three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology. The duration of this test was 90 minutes. Each section had 30 questions, each correct answer worth 01 mark and 1/3rd mark deducted for each incorrect answer.
Paper III for B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) Courses
This test followed a two-step selection phases, which are as follows:
- Written Examination
- Personal Interview/Assessment
A computer-based test will be conducted online. Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete this test. The questions will be based on Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing including Anatomy, Physiology & Pharmacology, Obstetrics Nursing and Midwifery, Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Professional Trends in Nursing.
AIIMS Nursing (Honours) Answer Key – Availability & Objection Process
All questions from the entrance exam will have a provisional answer key made available by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. After the test is over, it will be released in a week.
Following the formal release of the answer key, the organization will provide a link for anyone to voice concerns about incorrect answers.
