The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is set to conduct the Rajyaseva Pariksha, the Civil Services examination, to recruit candidates for various roles within the state government departments of Maharashtra. The Preliminary exam is scheduled for 28 September 2025. A total of 385 vacancies are available across departments such as General Administration, Revenue and Forest, and Public Works, under services including the State Services, Maharashtra Forest Services, and Maharashtra Civil Engineering Services.
This recruitment drive includes Group A and Group B positions such as Assistant State Tax Commissioner, Deputy Superintendent of Police, and Block Development Officer. Selection Process
The selection process comprises two primary stages: the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. The Preliminary Exam acts as a qualifying test to shortlist candidates for the Main Exam. Only those who pass the Prelims will be eligible to appear for the Mains.
The Mains Exam includes a written test followed by an interview. Final candidate selection will be determined based on overall performance in both the written exam and the interview, considering the combined scores.
