Cabinet Secretariat Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification Required
To be eligible for the Deputy Field Officer (Technical) job, you need at least a Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech) or a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc) from a recognized university. They also require a good score on a recent technical exam (GATE) taken in 2022, 2023, or 2024 to make sure you have the technical skills they need.

The DFO selection process has two parts. First, people with good GATE scores will be chosen. The best ones, up to five times the number of jobs, will go to the next part. These people will be invited to talk to us in one of these cities: Chennai, Gurugram, Guwahati, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, or Mumbai.
